When Joan Bluntzer heard of the plight of the Benedictines who were trying to relocate the remains of their departed brothers from the Corpus Christi Abbey cemetery to another local cemetery, she said, “They have done so much for us for years and years, bring them here and we will bury them for nothing.” Thus ended a long and difficult search for a final resting place for the men who had contributed so much to the area through years of work as priests, teachers, and mentors.
